Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Salt, Buffalo Meat, and Red Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (September 11, 2025) at 11:31 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include corn at the farmer level, broiler eggs, red onions, garlic, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as fresh buffalo meat (local), skipjack tuna, large red chilies, red cayenne chilies, and frozen buffalo meat (imported) decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Dry soybean seeds (imported) saw the highest increase of Rp325 (2.74%) to Rp12,195 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of frozen buffalo meat (imported) experienced the deepest drop of Rp12,500 (12.2%) to Rp90,000 per kg.
