Today's Food Prices in Banten: Prices of Onions, Chilies, and Cooking Oil Drop

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (22/8/2024) at 09.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, broiler chicken, SPHP rice, chicken eggs, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of livestock-level corn increased the most by Rp810 (9.89%) to Rp9,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most sharply by Rp1,870 (14.59%) to Rp10,950 per kg.
