Lampung's Weekly Food Prices (January 5th): Cooking Oil Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (5/1/2025) at 12:19 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, shallots, bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, broiler chicken, farmer-level corn, red chilies, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp440 (1.39%) to Rp32,150 per kg. The price of farmer-level corn decreased the most, by Rp410 (7.66%) to Rp4,940 per kg.
