Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Rice and Oil Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (8/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, pure beef, curly red chilies, chicken eggs, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, shallots, granulated sugar, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,710 (8.35%) to Rp22,200 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp2,090 (6.66%) to Rp29,290 per kg.
