Current Food Prices in D.I Yogyakarta: Oil and Chicken Meat Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (August 14, 2025) at 12:07 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are shallots, chicken eggs, medium rice, whole garlic, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, red cayenne pepper, curly red chili, consumption sugar, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn commodities rose the highest by Rp217 (3.81%) to Rp5,917 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red cayenne pepper dropped the deepest by Rp2,474 (9.06%) to Rp24,842 per kg.
