Jakarta, DKI Region Food Prices Today: Chicken Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (1/8/2024) at 12:09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, mackerel, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, iodized fine salt, milkfish, red chilies, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,420 (4.18%) to Rp35,380 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the largest price decrease of Rp600 (5.15%) to Rp11,040 per kg.
