Current Food Prices in Banten: Beef, Egg, and Rice Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (August 21, 2025) at 13.17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include large red chili, frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad), consumption sugar, red cayenne pepper, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita, broiler chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, curly red chili, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulb experienced the highest surge of Rp1,053 (2.91%) to Rp37,261 per kg. The price of curly red chili dropped most sharply by Rp860 (2.27%) to Rp37,095 per kg.
