Latest Food Prices in East Java: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Red Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (10/4/2025) at 14.05 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, medium rice, dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, garlic bulbs, broiler chicken, milkfish, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase, jumping Rp54 (0.98%) to Rp5,583 per kg. The price of large red chilies saw the largest decrease, dropping Rp994 (2.5%) to Rp38,821 per kg.
