Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili, Beef, and Salt Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (14/7/2024) at 12.25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, shallots, chicken eggs, fine iodized salt, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp830 (1.67%) to Rp50,610 per kg. Shallots experienced the largest price drop, decreasing Rp720 (2.63%) to Rp26,670 per kg.
