Jambi Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Monday, March 18, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (18/3/2024) at 14.37 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, shallots, mackerel, garlic bulbs, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, red chili peppers, medium rice, skipjack tuna, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,070 (2.89%) to Rp38,100 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp12,090 (20.51%) to Rp46,850 per kg.
