Latest Food Prices in West Java: Salt Up, Fish Down (Monday, December 4, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (4/12/2023) at 09.38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, dry soybean (import), curly red chilies, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, farmer-level corn, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp410 (3.88%), reaching Rp10,970 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp1,840 (4.92%), reaching Rp35,550 per kg.
