Yogyakarta Special Region Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (20/12/2024) at 11:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 4 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, tongkol fish, and kembung fish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk wheat flour, curly red chilies, and chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,550 (3.96%) to Rp40,710 per kg. Chicken meat experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp750 (2.19%) to Rp33,530 per kg.
