Today's Food Prices in Jakarta, DKI: What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (8/7/2024) at 12:25 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, chicken eggs, shallots, granulated sugar, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, Indian mackerel, milkfish, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red chili peppers saw the highest increase, jumping Rp5,510 (12.17%) to Rp50,780 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel saw the steepest decrease, dropping Rp3,770 (10.55%) to Rp31,960 per kg.
