Today's Food Prices in Banten: Chili Prices Up, Egg Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (15/11/2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, red chilies, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,220 (4.91%) to Rp26,090 per kg. Farmer-level corn prices fell the most sharply by Rp600 (7.48%) to Rp7,420 per kg.
