Current Food Prices in Central Java: Prices of Beef, Sugar, and Onions Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (29/6/2024) at 11:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, premium rice, red chilies, SPHP rice, and chicken meat.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, and milkfish have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp480 (1.6%) to Rp30,530 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp890 (2.9%) to Rp29,830 per kg.
