Today's Food Prices in Banten: Salt Rises, Red Chili Drops

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (Aug 13, 2025) at 11:56 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include pure beef, broiler chicken meat, skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour, and frozen buffalo meat (imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as corn at the farmer level, red bird's eye chili, large red chili, SPHP rice, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt increased the most by Rp917 (9.5%) to Rp10,571 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most by Rp875 (11.11%) to Rp7,000 per kg.
