Aceh Food Prices on Friday (August 2nd): Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Aceh today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (2/8/2024) at 10:41 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, and Indian mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of Indian mackerel increased the most, by Rp3,670 (8.49%) to Rp46,890 per kg. The price of curly red chilies decreased the most, by Rp1,220 (3.45%) to Rp34,140 per kg.
