Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Monday, January 15, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (15/1/2024) at 17.23 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulb garlic, pure beef, premium rice, curly red chilies, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, red chilies, mackerel, shallots, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp3,600 (9.6%) to Rp41,110 per kg. The price of milkfish saw the lowest decrease of Rp2,500 (9.09%) to Rp25,000 per kg.
