Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Salt, Chilies, and Eggs Increase

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (28/11/2024) at 17.52 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, premium rice, kembung fish, tongkol fish, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, milkfish, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies surged the highest by Rp540 (1.7%) to Rp32,370 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers fell the sharpest by Rp730 (1.66%) to Rp43,260 per kg.
