Daily Price of Domestic Granulated Sugar in Modern Markets, December 2023-2024

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:23 PM WIB, the daily price of local granulated sugar in modern markets in Maluku Province has not changed compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of local granulated sugar in modern markets remains unchanged at Rp18,500 per kg.

Over the past three months, the daily price of local granulated sugar in modern markets in Maluku has increased by 1.37% from the previous price of Rp18,250 per kg.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of local granulated sugar in modern markets in this province was in February 2017, with a 26.94% increase, while the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2017, at -19.61%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Maluku show ten commodities decreased and seven increased. The commodities with price decreases are Chicken Meat, Red Chili, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Super I Quality Rice, Curly Red Chili, Rice, Medium-Sized Garlic, Garlic, Red Chili, and Chili.

6. Large Red Chili per Kg: Rp83,900 per kg (unchanged)
7. Inferior I Quality Rice per Kg: Rp16,200 per kg (unchanged)
8. Premium Quality Granulated Sugar per Kg: Rp18,500 per kg (unchanged)
9. Fresh Broiler Chicken per Kg: Rp47,900 per kg (down 12.83%)
