10 Provinces with the Highest Prices for Branded Packaged Cooking Oil (Wednesday, May 10, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 22,275 per kg for branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) in modern markets across several provinces as of Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Overall, this week's average is higher than the previous week's average of Rp 22,260 per kg.

The daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) in Gorontalo's modern markets was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 26,300 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) in this province is higher; previously it was recorded at Rp 18,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) was sold at Rp 24,550 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Following in third place, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) was Rp 22,950 per kg in Bali, Rp 22,700 per kg in Central Java, and Rp 22,600 per kg in East Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, seven provinces had sales of branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) were West Kalimantan, Aceh, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
