Current Food Prices in South Sumatra: Egg and Beef Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (15/12/2024) at 14.27 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 17 commodities increased in price and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, shallots, iodized fine salt, mackerel, and red onions.

Meanwhile, only bulk cooking oil decreased in price compared to yesterday's price.

Milkfish prices increased the most, by Rp910 (3.35%) to Rp28,110 per kg. Bulk cooking oil prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp80 (0.46%) to Rp17,200 per liter.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in South Sumatra according to Bapanas on December 15, 2024, at 14.27 WIB.
