The number increased by 90,845 units or grew by 69% compared to 2024, setting a new record high in the last decade.

When viewed by region, East Java Province became the area with the most cooperatives in Indonesia, with 30,132 units in 2025.

Next in line are West Java Province with 24,629 cooperative units and Central Java with 19,724 units.

Meanwhile, South Papua Province became the area with the least number of cooperatives, with 854 units, followed by North Kalimantan with 1,173 units, and Bangka Belitung Islands with 1,249 units.
