Minister of SMEs Maman Abdurrahman said that SMEs affected by the Sumatra disaster have been granted six relaxation programs.

These include interest rate relief, grace periods, adjusting collectability status, restructuring, additional collateral relaxation, ease of access to new KURs, and credit cancellation proposals.

"This means that for SMEs that already have access to banks and are facing problems, everything has been covered through the Ministry of Coordinating Economic Affairs regulation, which is divided into three periods, namely mapping, relaxation, and recovery until December 2027," said Maman at a meeting with the House of Representatives on Wednesday (18/2/2026).

The relaxation policies are outlined in the Regulation of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (Permenko) No. 2 of 2026 on relaxation for SMEs with KUR or non-KUR loans before the flood disaster occurred.
