Daily Prices of Bulk Cooking Oil at Traditional Markets in South Sumatra Province Increased by 3.05% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of bulk cooking oil in traditional markets in South Sumatra Province is recorded at Rp20,250. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

However, compared to the last month, the daily price of bulk cooking oil in traditional markets has increased from the previous record of Rp19,650.

Meanwhile, the daily price of bulk cooking oil in traditional markets in South Sumatra over the last three months has increased by 16.05% from the previous record of Rp17,450.

The highest price increase for daily bulk cooking oil in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2022 with an increase of 11.76%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in February 2022 with a decrease of -10.53%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sumatra show three commodities decreased and 15 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Grade 1 Beef, Chicken, and Fresh Broiler Chicken.
