The resilience of the National Health Insurance (JKN) fund managed by BPJS Kesehatan continues to weaken.

According to a report by the National Social Security Board (DJSN), in December 2022, BPJS Kesehatan still had a net asset of Rp56.51 trillion, which was sufficient to finance health services for 5.98 months.

However, its assets subsequently decreased to Rp34.53 trillion in October 2025, only enough to finance services for 2.28 months.

Meanwhile, BPJS Kesehatan's premium income until October 2025 was only Rp144.56 trillion, resulting in a claim ratio of 107.98% of the income.
