Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara) reported the progress of 18 downstreaming projects with an investment value reaching US$38.63 billion or approximately Rp618.13 trillion.
Work on these projects is being accelerated so that groundbreaking can be carried out by March 2026 at the latest.
In the initial stage, work will focus on six downstreaming projects. One of them is a coal gasification project into dimethyl ether (DME) to reduce reliance on LPG imports.
Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi explained that the next groundbreaking ceremonies will be held in February and March 2026.
"There are several programs related to energy, the development of several DME sites. Then there are also programs in the agricultural sector," said Prasetyo Hadi, as reported by Katadata, on Tuesday (January 16, 2026).
