According to Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi, Danantara will invest in 18 downstream projects.
The total investment value is estimated to reach US$38.63 billion or approximately Rp618 trillion.
"There are several programs related to energy, the development of several DME [dimethyl ether] facilities. Then there are also programs in the agricultural sector," Prasetyo said during a press conference, as reported by Katadata.co.id, Thursday (January 15, 2026).
Prasetyo stated that these projects are targeted to commence in February and March 2026.
In the initial stage, work will focus on six projects, one of which is coal gasification into DME.
This DME project is also estimated to receive the largest investment from Danantara, with a value of Rp164 trillion.

3. Oil storage tanks: Rp72 trillion
4. Aluminum smelter industry (bauxite): Rp60 trillion
5. Stainless steel slab industry (nickel): Rp38.4 trillion
6. Integrated solar modules (bauxite and silica): Rp24 trillion
7. Copper rod, wire & tube industry (copper cathode): Rp19.2 trillion
8. Iron and steel industry (iron sand): Rp19 trillion
9. Chemical grade alumina industry (bauxite): Rp17.3 trillion
10. Chlor-alkali plant industry (salt): Rp16 trillion
11. Bio-jet fuel industry (used cooking oil): Rp16 trillion
12. Manganese sulfate industry (manganese): Rp3.05 trillion
13. Oleofood industry (palm oil): Rp3 trillion
14. Nata de coco, CMT, coconut flour, activated carbon industry (coconut): Rp2.3 trillion
15. Oleoresin industry (nutmeg): Rp1.8 trillion
16. Asphalt industry: Rp1.49 trillion
17. Tilapia fillet industry (tilapia fish): Rp1 trillion
18. Carrageenan industry (seaweed): Rp212 billion
