Annual Inflation in Indonesian Provinces in November 2025, Riau Highest

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Indonesia experienced an annual inflation rate of 2.72% (year-on-year/yoy) in November 2025, a slowdown compared to October 2025 which reached 2.86% (yoy).

Based on regions, the highest inflation in November 2025 occurred in Riau Province, reaching 4.27% (yoy), while the lowest inflation was in North Sulawesi with 0.65% (yoy).

Here are the 10 provinces with the highest inflation in November 2025:

1. Riau: 4.27% (yoy)

2. Highland Papua: 4.05% (yoy)

3. West Sumatra: 3.98% (yoy)

4. North Sumatra: 3.96% (yoy)

5. Aceh: 3.58% (yoy)

6. Jambi: 3.55% (yoy)

7. Central Sulawesi: 3.50% (yoy)

8. South Papua: 3.39% (yoy)

9. South Kalimantan: 3.35% (yoy)

10. Riau Islands: 3% (yoy)

According to BPS, all 41 regencies/cities on Sumatra Island experienced annual inflation. Kerinci Regency had the highest at 5.66% (yoy), and Bandar Lampung City had the lowest inflation at 0.37% (yoy).

As many as 38 regencies/cities on Java Island also experienced inflation in November 2025, with Sukabumi City having the highest at 3.63% (yoy) and Bandung Regency the lowest at 1.89% (yoy).

Meanwhile, 69 out of 71 regencies/cities outside Java and Sumatra experienced annual inflation, while two regencies recorded deflation in November 2025.

Outside Java and Sumatra, the highest inflation occurred in Toli-Toli Regency, reaching 6.69% (yoy), and the lowest was in Central Halmahera Regency, at only 0.10% (yoy).

The deepest deflation occurred in North Minahasa Regency at 0.51% (yoy), followed by South Minahasa Regency with deflation of 0.42% (yoy).
