5 Largest Monthly Inflation Contributors in Indonesia, November 2025

According to a report by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Indonesia experienced a monthly inflation of 0.17% (month-to-month/mtm) in November 2025.

During this period, jewelry gold was the largest contributor to monthly inflation, with a contribution of 0.08%.

"This gold and jewelry group has recorded inflation for 47 consecutive months," said Pudji Ismartini, Deputy for Distribution and Services Statistics at BPS, during a press conference on Monday (December 1, 2025).

Other commodities that contributed significantly to monthly inflation in November 2025 were air transport fares with a contribution of 0.04%, shallots 0.03%, fresh fish 0.02%, and carrots 0.02%.

On the other hand, several commodities contributed to monthly deflation or price decreases, namely broiler chicken meat with a deflationary contribution of 0.03%, as well as rice and red chilies, each contributing 0.02%.

In November 2025, monthly inflation occurred in 28 provinces, while the other 10 provinces experienced monthly deflation.

The highest monthly inflation was recorded in Papua at 1.69% (mtm), while the deepest monthly deflation was in Aceh at 0.67% (mtm).
