The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) reported that as of November 21, 2025, the government had received an additional tax revenue of Rp1.75 trillion from the work of the Forest Area Control Task Force (Satgas PKH).

"The total monthly impact from the Satgas PKH, excluding routine revenue and activities, is around Rp1.75 trillion," said Director General of Taxes Bimo Wijayanto during a hearing with Commission XI of the House of Representatives on Monday (24/11/2025).

He explained that this increase is in line with a 20.22% rise in tax payment compliance in 2025.

By category, the largest contribution to this additional revenue came from the accelerated settlement of tax arrears, which amounted to Rp1.61 trillion.

Furthermore, Rp138.39 billion was generated through tax supervision activities, and Rp18 million from PBB-P5L inspections.

For information, three units of the Ministry of Finance are involved in the Satgas PKH: the DGT, the Directorate General of Budget, and the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN).

Bimo explained that Satgas PKH plays a role in optimizing tax revenue. This is done by inventorying and optimizing taxes on the utilization of land for mining, plantation, and other activities in forest areas.
