Chicken Meat Prices in Traditional Markets for the February 2025-2026 Period

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel, the daily chicken meat price in traditional markets of South Sumatra province was recorded at Rp32,400. This price decreased by Rp250 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price in the last month, the daily chicken meat price in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp35,650 .

Meanwhile, the daily chicken meat price in traditional markets in South Sumatra over the past three months has increased by 9.27% from the previously traded Rp29,650.

The record increase in daily chicken meat prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2017 with an increase of 26.4%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017 with a decrease of -21.99%.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods in South Sumatra show that three commodities decreased and 15 others increased. The staple foods with price decreases are Grade 1 Beef, Chicken Meat and Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat.

8. Chicken Meat per Kg Rp36,700 per kg (down 1.87%)
9. Low Grade II Rice per Kg Rp15,800 per kg (unchanged)
