Current Food Prices in Aceh: Chili Up, Sugar Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (29/12/2024) at 12.06 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, garlic bulbs, medium rice, shallots, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel, iodized fine salt, SPHP rice, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,420 (3.64%) to Rp40,380 per kg. The price of mackerel saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp2,620 (5.42%) to Rp45,690 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp36,800 per kg (up 0.77%)
7. Broiler Chicken: Rp31,960 per kg (up 1.85%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp29,970 per kg (down 3.57%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,670 per kg (up 0.1%)
10. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,360 per liter (down 0.16%)
