Local Own-Source Revenue in 6 Provinces on Sulawesi Island collectively decreased in 2024.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) compiled by Databoks, local own-source revenue (PAD) in all six provinces on Sulawesi Island decreased in 2024.

This decline occurred in line with the national situation, which saw a decrease of approximately 17% from Rp358.34 trillion in 2023 to Rp296.68 trillion in 2024.

On Sulawesi Island, Gorontalo Province experienced the deepest decline in PAD, falling by 34% from Rp511.93 billion in 2023 to Rp336.14 billion in 2024.

Meanwhile, the region with the lowest decrease in PAD was South Sulawesi Province, which weakened by 8.7% from Rp5.18 trillion in 2023 to Rp4.73 trillion in 2024.

On Sulawesi Island, South Sulawesi Province had the largest PAD in 2024.

Over the last five years, or the 2020-2024 period, the amount of PAD in the 6 provinces on Sulawesi Island experienced fluctuations, with the exception of South Sulawesi and Southeast Sulawesi Provinces, which only saw a decrease in 2024, as shown in the table above.

The amount of PAD for the 6 provinces on Sulawesi Island in 2024 can be seen as follows:

• Central Sulawesi: Rp1.42 trillion
• North Sulawesi: Rp1.32 trillion
• Southeast Sulawesi: Rp1.12 trillion
