According to the report from the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), the realization of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Indonesia reached Rp212 trillion in Q3 2025.

This value is equivalent to 43.1% of the total incoming investment, while the other 56.9% came from domestic direct investment (DDI).

In the third quarter of this year, Singapore became the largest contributor of foreign investment in Indonesia with a value of US$3.8 billion, or 28.8% of the incoming FDI.

Generally, capital inflow in Indonesia in Q3 2025 mostly went into the basic metal industry, metal goods, excluding machinery and equipment, accounting for 12.6% of the total investment.

Followed by the mining sector (11.4%); transportation, warehousing, and telecommunications (10.7%); other services (9%); and trade and repair (7%).
