Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region, Wednesday (2/10): Chili Prices Up, Egg Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (2/10/2024) at 17.44 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, milkfish, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, mackerel, bulk wheat flour, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp920 (5.68%) to Rp17,110 per kg. Bulk wheat flour experienced the sharpest price drop, decreasing by Rp250 (2.77%) to Rp8,780 per kg.
