Realization of Professional Allowances for ASN Teachers Reaches Rp33 Trillion: Here's the Breakdown

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) recorded that, as of August 31, 2025, the government had disbursed Rp33.3 trillion for professional allowances for civil servant (ASN) teachers (TPG).

This amount is equivalent to 50% of the budget allocated in the 2025 State Budget (APBN), which is Rp66.9 trillion.

"Starting in 2025, the disbursement of teacher professional allowances will be directly from the APBN to teachers' accounts. This is the first year we've done this, and the realization up to August is 50% for stages I and II," said Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara in a press conference on the APBN KiTa, Monday (September 22, 2025).

He detailed that the disbursement of ASN TPG stage I had reached Rp16.70 trillion for 1.43 million teachers in 544 regions. In stage II, the government disbursed Rp16.57 trillion for 1.43 million teachers in 544 regions.

The details of the ASN TPG disbursement realization up to the second stage, by region, are as follows:

• Java: Rp14.5 trillion for 631,500 teachers
• Sumatra: Rp8.9 trillion for 380,000 teachers
• Sulawesi: Rp3.9 trillion for 167,050 teachers
• Kalimantan: Rp2.6 trillion for 112,300 teachers
• Bali and Nusa Tenggara: Rp2.4 trillion for 106,500 teachers
• Maluku and Papua: Rp900 billion for 40,500 teachers.

"We believe that stages I and II are on track, so we can continue to move forward so that teachers can receive their TPG directly into their respective accounts," said Suahasil.
