President Prabowo Subianto presented the Indonesia's 2026 Draft State Budget (RAPBN) on Friday, August 15, 2025.

"The architecture of the 2026 State Budget is an implementation of my vision and mission with the vice president, aimed at creating a resilient, independent, and prosperous Indonesia," said President Prabowo in his 2026 RAPBN address on Friday, August 15, 2025.

For 2026, planned state expenditure is projected to reach Rp3,786.5 trillion, a 7.3% increase compared to this year's estimated expenditure (year-on-year/yoy).

The target state revenue for 2026 is Rp3,147.7 trillion, a 9.8% growth (yoy).

With expenditure exceeding revenue, Indonesia's 2026 RAPBN will have a deficit of Rp638.8 trillion, equivalent to 2.48% of the projected Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

"We will continue to implement efficiency measures so that we can keep this deficit as small as possible," said Prabowo.

According to him, the State Budget is designed to strengthen the food, energy, economic, and defense sectors.
