Current Indonesian Food Prices, What's the Price of Beef?

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (23/5/2024) at 13.37 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are Indian mackerel, curly red chilies, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as wheat flour (bulk), chicken eggs, shallots, red chilies, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp140 (0.45%) to Rp31,570 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp820 (2.46%) to Rp32,510 per kg.
