Today's Food Prices in East Java, How Much are Chilies?

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (24/12/2024) at 15.32 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, garlic bulbs, SPHP rice, skipjack tuna, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), shallots, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp700 (2.42%) to Rp29,600 per kg. Dry soybean (import) prices experienced the sharpest decrease, falling by Rp160 (1.63%) to Rp9,640 per kg.
