The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has named three judges from the Central Jakarta District Court (PN) as suspects in a bribery case involving the manipulation of a dismissal ruling (*onslag*) in a suspected corruption case related to the provision of crude palm oil (CPO) export facilities, the main ingredient in cooking oil.
The three judges are Djuyamto, the presiding judge, and Agam Syarief Baharuddin and Ali Muhtarom, the members of the panel.
Based on the investigation, investigators found evidence that they received bribes totaling Rp60 billion through suspect Muhammad Arif Nuryanta, who was then the Deputy Chief of the Central Jakarta District Court.
"The three judges knew the purpose of receiving the money, which was to have the case dismissed (*onslag*)," said Abdul Qohar, Director of Investigation at the Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), as reported by *Katadata* on Monday (14/4/2025).
Thus, a total of seven people are currently being prosecuted by the Jampidsus Kejagung. The four other suspects are Muhammad Arif Nuryanta (Chief Justice of South Jakarta District Court, previously Deputy Chief of Central Jakarta District Court); Wahyu Gunawan, the Civil Registrar of the North Jakarta District Court; and CPO export corporate lawyers Marcella Santoso and Ariyanto Bakri.
