Food Prices on Tuesday (25/6) in Yogyakarta: Prices of Chicken, Sugar, and Salt Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 11:52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 saw price increases and 7 saw price decreases.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, red chilies, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, up by Rp820 (7.05%) to Rp12,450 per kg. Shallots experienced the largest price decrease, down by Rp4,430 (11.68%) to Rp33,500 per kg.
