Today's Food Prices in Central Java, What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (22/9/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, mackerel, and corn at the farmer level.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, skipjack tuna, red chilies, broiler chicken, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp3,720 (16.23%) to Rp26,640 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk wheat flour decreased the most, dropping Rp600 (6.34%) to Rp8,870 per kg.
