A quick count by polling agency Charta Politika shows that candidate pair number 02, Andi Sumangeruka-Hugua, received the highest number of votes in the 2024 Southeast Sulawesi Regional Elections.
Their vote share reached 49.48%, significantly higher than the other three candidate pairs.
Candidate pair 04, Tina Nur Alam-LM. Ihsan Taufik, came in second with 21.95%.
Candidate pair 03, Lukman Abunawas-La Ode Ida, came in third with 17.78% of the vote.
Candidate pair number 01, Ruksamin-Sjafei Kahar, came in last with only 10.79%.
However, the official results of the gubernatorial election are still awaiting calculation from the General Election Commission (KPU).
This data was collected from a total of 1,876,792 permanent voter lists (DPT) spread across 300 polling stations (TPS) in Southeast Sulawesi. 100% of the votes have been counted.
The 2024 simultaneous regional elections were held in 545 regions, comprising 37 provinces, 415 regencies, and 93 cities on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
Charta Politika conducted quick counts in 8 provinces, including Banten, Jakarta Special Capital Region, Central Java, East Java, North Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, and East Nusa Tenggara.
In addition, they covered 5 regencies: Tanjung Jabung Timur, Brebes, Kediri, Kotawaringin Timur, and Minahasa Utara; and 3 cities: Bogor City, Bandung City, and Surabaya City.
The sampling process was conducted randomly using stratified random sampling with a margin of error of 1% and a 99% confidence level.
