The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) reported that Indonesia's tax revenue reached Rp1,517.53 trillion from January to October 2024. This figure is equivalent to 76.30% of the target in the 2024 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).

The largest net tax realization and contribution came from domestic value-added tax (PPN DN), namely Rp373.34 trillion, contributing 24.6%. The Kemenkeu report noted that its cumulative growth increased by 23.2% from the beginning of the year to October 2024.

Second is corporate income tax (PPh Badan), amounting to Rp2,262.67 trillion, with a contribution of 17.3%. Kemenkeu recorded a 22.9% growth in this component.

Third is import VAT (PPN Impor), amounting to Rp223.08 trillion, with a contribution of 14.7%.

Fourth is PPh 21 from employees, with a realization of Rp206.99 trillion and a contribution of 13.6%. Kemenkeu stated that PPh 21 persistently grew by double digits every month, maintaining its cumulative growth above 20%.

Next is final PPh with a realization of Rp111.63 trillion and a contribution of 7.4%. There is also PPh 26 amounting to Rp73.81 trillion and a contribution of 4.9%.

Finally, there is import PPh 22 with a realization of Rp61.87 trillion and a contribution of 4.1%. And PPh OP amounting to Rp12.68 trillion and a contribution of 0.8%.

Anggito added that the receipt of all types of PPh shows optimism.

"Previously, if you look at August, July, and June, the situation was declining; a turnaround occurred in September-October," he said.
