Based on the budget allocation for organizers, the funding realization for the 2024 Pilkada to the Regional Election Commission (KPUD) amounted to Rp28.7 trillion as of September 20, 2024, or 99.78% of the total.

Meanwhile, the budget realization for the Regional Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) reached Rp8.73 trillion, covering 99.66% of its allocation.

Deputy Minister of Finance, Suahasil Nazara, stated that this achievement shows the country's readiness to hold simultaneous regional head elections in November 2024.

"This means we are very ready for the Pilkada, and the regional budget has been allocated," said Suahasil in the *APBN Kita* press conference on Monday, September 23, 2024.

Previously, Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani, explained the funding process through the NPHD scheme. Funds from the regional government's regional revenue and expenditure budget (APBD) are transferred to Kemenkeu. Kemenkeu then disburses these funds to the organizers according to their respective positions, namely the KPU or Bawaslu.
