Food Prices in Banten, Friday (24/5): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (24/5/2024) at 14.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, broiler chicken, granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, premium rice, red onions, simple packaged cooking oil, and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp2,580 (7.15%) to Rp38,660 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fine iodized salt decreased the most by Rp1,210 (9.74%) to Rp11,210 per kg.
