Current Food Prices in West Sumatra: What's the Price of Chicken Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (20/11/2024) at 12.09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, fine iodized salt, garlic cloves, granulated sugar, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, broiler chicken, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, up by Rp380 (7.06%) to Rp5,760 per kg. The largest price decrease was for milkfish, down Rp1,700 (5.0%) to Rp32,270 per kg.
