Agus Gumiwang Appointed Acting Golkar Chairman: What is His Net Worth?

Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita was officially appointed as the Acting General Chairperson of Golkar on Tuesday (August 13, 2024). The Minister of Industry replaced Airlangga Hartarto, who resigned on Sunday (August 11, 2024).

"Through mutual agreement and deliberation, I have been entrusted with leading the Golkar Party as the Acting General Chairperson," Agus said after a plenary meeting at the Golkar DPP office, as reported by *Katadata.co.id*, Tuesday (August 13, 2024).

He stated that his main task is to guide Golkar towards the National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) and the 11th National Congress (Munas) of the party.

According to the State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN), at the end of 2023, Agus possessed assets worth Rp197.53 billion.

The majority of his assets come from other asset components, valued at Rp176.15 billion.

Furthermore, Agus is recorded as owning 10 plots of land and buildings worth Rp64.68 billion. His property assets are spread across South Jakarta, Central Jakarta, Bogor, South Tangerang, and Gianyar.

Agus's other sources of wealth include securities worth Rp21.03 billion, other movable assets worth Rp12.37 billion, and cash and cash equivalents worth Rp10.93 billion.
