Food Prices in Jambi on Monday (November 11th): Chili Prices Rise, Salt Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (11/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, pure beef, skipjack tuna, curly red chilies, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, iodized fine salt, milkfish, SPHP rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp850 (3.67%) to Rp23,990 per kg. Milkfish prices, on the other hand, experienced the largest decrease of Rp1,530 (4.83%) to Rp30,170 per kg.
